Following our Launch Event on September 14th the FED will also be hosting a unique gathering of 12 former Secretaries of State for Education as part of our FEDweek150 celebrations. In groups of four they will be in discussion with Branwen Jefferys, education correspondent for BBC News.
To mark the 150th Anniversary of state education, this event will provide the opportunity for reflection and celebration of a significant anniversary. We have asked the Secretaries of State to reflect on past successes of education, the unintended consequences of past policy, and to envision what still remains to be done.
