Vivienne

Vivienne Durham

FED Council Member: Vivienne began her career in 1983 at Haberdashers’ Aske’s School for Girls. Thereafter, she worked at Godolphin and Latymer School for Girls and Guildford High School before becoming Deputy Head of South Hampstead High School GDST in 1997.

She served as an accredited ISI Schools Inspector from 1999 to 2015. For more than 25 years, Vivienne has been a school Governor, including day, boarding, prep and co-educational schools. She was awarded “Best Head of a Public School” in September 2014 (Tatler Awards).

From September 2004 until December 2015, Vivienne was Head of Francis Holland School Regent’s Park, overseeing an expansion in the school’s roll and considerable improvements to its site and facilities. After two years as director for a schools’ consultancy, Vivienne was appointed as Chief Executive of the Girls’ Schools Association (GSA) in 2017.
