On Day 4 of FED’s National Education Summit, the Rt Hon Robert Halfron MP, Chair of Education Select Committee, shares in his keynote the four pillars of a long-term plan. Hosted by Carl Ward.

Robert begins by thanking teachers and support staff to keep our children learning during this challenging year before discussing a wide range of ways in which education can be driven forward, not only in light of recent challenges, but more generally and thinking holistically about the whole child. Robert highlights how much of the work of government is focused on the economy and health and suggests that education should sit alongside them. He argues the need for and value of a long-term vision and plan for education.
