FED Executive Team: Dr Trevor Lee
FED Executive Team: Dr Trevor Lee has enjoyed a 40-year career in education, teaching in state and independent schools as well as in universities. He is now Chief Educational Consultant at Saracens RFC and a key member of the development team for Saracens Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) at Saracens High School. Trevor’s research report on strategy was circulated to 23,000 Headteachers in the UK following its publication by the National College for School Leaders in 2006. Awarded degrees at Exeter, Cambridge and Hull Universities, he teaches both in the UK and internationally on strategic leadership, collaborative learning, culture and student well-being. His doctoral thesis, “Strategy and Leadership for Turbulent Times” subsequently published in book form by VDM, received critical acclaim at its launch in New York in 2009. Trevor’s most recent book on pupil well-being, “Schools: the happiest days of our lives” has been warmly received since its launch at the AERA Conference in Vancouver in 2012. He teaches on the MBA programme at the Educational Leadership centre at UCL.
