Melissa Farnham is CEO of ASDAN and an experienced education leader with over 25 years driving inclusive practice, policy influence, and system change. Drawing on her own lived experience of resilience, she champions equitable learning pathways for disadvantaged learners.
She is an expert advisor on the IPPR Taskforce, serves on several education and care focused boards, and leads the Cross-Sector Lab, a platform reviewing the Equality Act and its positionality in education.
Currently undertaking a doctorate on neural pruning and the curricula impact. Melissa brings together neuroscience, leadership, and policy to shape education that is humane, future-focused, and transformative.
