Louise Pennington
Head of Professional Development, Oxford University Press

Louise Pennington is Head of Professional Development at Oxford University Press and a founding Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching.She is a trustee of both The Together Trust and Oldham Coliseum Theatre, and she leads the newly formed Association for Mathematics in Education (AMiE) Professional Development Providers Community, where she also serves as Vice Chair of the Primary and Early Years Community.

With a career spanning classroom teaching and senior leadership, Louise has held roles as a primary and lead maths teacher, SENCo, Local Authority SEND team leader, and specialist teacher. She is an experienced author and series editor of primary mathematics resources and a regular conference speaker.

Louise has published widely on primary mathematics and SEND, sharing her expertise to support teachers, strengthen professional practice, and improve outcomes for all learners.
