Kate Tague has served as Chief Executive Officer of the BOA Group since 2022 and brings more than 25 years of experience across the education sector, including roles in schools, multi-academy trusts and national education organisations.
Prior to joining BOA Group, she was the founding Principal and later Chief Executive Officer of the WMG Academy Trust, where she led the creation and development of two specialist engineering academies. Her career has also included senior leadership positions in schools, work with Pearson plc supporting qualifications and curriculum delivery, and a role as a 14-19 education adviser in local government.
Kate has extensive experience establishing new schools, developing technical and vocational education programmes, and building partnerships with employers and universities to support specialist education pathways.
