Helen Bradford-Keegan is the Foundation Head of Educational Research and Innovation at Bolton School, where she leads strategic work to embed evidence-informed practice across the Foundation. She holds a Master’s degree in Literature from the University of Durham and is a Founding Fellow of the Chartered College of Teaching. She has extensive experience in teaching and senior leadership, including roles as Head of English and Assistant Head for Achievement.
Her work focuses on bridging educational research and classroom practice, with particular interests in cognitive science, curriculum design, assessment, and professional development. Helen also has a growing focus on the role of artificial intelligence in education, exploring its potential to support teaching, learning, and leadership, alongside its ethical implications. She regularly presents at conferences and contributes to academic and professional dialogue on research-informed practice and innovation in education.
