Ali leads The Big AI Project which aims to empower every school in the UK and ROI with the skills needed to approach an AI-infused world ethically, safely and strategically. The Big AI Project has created free teacher-designed and expert-assured training materials for school leaders, teachers and pupils from age 3 to 14. The AI-agnostic materials encourage critical thinking and promote an understanding of what living in an AI-infused world means for our staff and students.
Ali is the Programme Director of the My Future primary school aspirations, careers and essential skills programme. My Future has reached 35,000 children and has enabled over 750,000 encounters between a child and an employee since its launch in 2021.
Ali has experience from teaching, working in local government and Multi Academy Trust executive leadership. Ali is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and believes passionately in the transformation of society through education.
