Emma Pape, Headteacher at Maritime Academy Trust. I am currently Headteacher of a three-form entry primary school in Gillingham within the Maritime Academy Trust. I have extensive experience working with leaders and teachers to drive school improvement, strengthen teaching and learning, and enhance outcomes for children, staff, and parents. My areas of expertise include leadership development, curriculum design, and evidence-informed improvement.
I am currently studying for an EdD, with research focused on leadership and the curriculum development process, using self-reflection and autoethnography to critically explore practice. I have contributed to collaborative initiatives that support effective practice and continuous improvement across schools and am committed to ensuring stakeholder voice informs meaningful change.
