In celebration of the 150th Anniversary of State Education in England we hosted a virtual event in which numerous key figures across the Education, Political, Business and Third Sector came together. Each individual provided an insight into why they feel Education is so important to them, why they are celebrating this momentous occasion, the things they feel we have achieved and the changes that they think need to be made as we work together to build a long term plan for Education.
In this clip, Alison Peacock , CEO of the Chartered College of Teaching speaks on behalf of the current education system. She reflects on the way that teachers change the lives of students, the ways in which we can eliminate the fixed ways that we discuss children’s learning to ensure that we open up the potential of every individual to thrive in society moving forwards.
