FED Ambassador: Dr Nicole Ponsford is Founder and Director of Research and Impact at Kaleidoscope, an independent research and innovation organisation advancing inclusion, belonging, wellbeing and human-centred data.
An award-winning educator, researcher, author and EdTech founder, Nicole has 25 years’ experience across teaching, leadership, research, policy and technology. Her doctoral research introduced Kaleidoscopic Data™, a methodology that brings together quantitative evidence, lived experience and intersectional insight.
Her work includes 35,000+ voices, 1.8 million data points and research across 400+ schools and organisations in 30+ countries. Nicole contributes to national education policy and system development around inclusion, SEND, pupil engagement, data and AI. Her work has been recognised through BESA Person of the Year, the BERA Doctoral Thesis of the Year shortlist and the UK Diversity Power List.
