FED Ambassador: Dr Simon Hyde is General Secretary of HMC, the world’s first association of Headteachers with over three hundred schools in the UK and another 60 internationally. As Head of the King’s School in Macclesfield, he led the Foundation’s 2020 Vision, which transformed the split-site diamond school into a fully co-educational school operating from a new campus in one of the UK’s largest school improvement projects.
An historian with an interest in German education, society and culture, Simon serves on a number of school and education boards and charities.
