Prof Vanessa Ogden CBE became Regional Director for London in April 2026.
Prof Ogden is a nationally recognised education leader, she previously served as CEO of the Mulberry Schools Trust and was a National Leader in Education.
Throughout her career, she has played a key role in improving educational quality across inner city London and other urban and rural contexts. Her leadership at Mulberry has been widely praised for raising standards and championing inclusive, high quality education for all.
Prof Ogden is an Honorary Professor of Practice at UCL Institute of Education and holds a doctorate in education policy and school improvement. She is committed to equity in education, having collaborated with the Women of the World Foundation and as Founding Chair of the Fair Education Alliance.
