FED Ambassador: Melissa Richardson MBE. Starting her career as an apprentice in British Airways, Mel has been inspired by working with young people. Since her career journey began in 2012, she has worked in the emerging talent space and delivered international employability programmes, designed and lead British Airways’ award-winning student programmes, and currently leads the award-winning early careers attraction and recruitment strategy for British Airways.
In 2024, Mel was awarded an MBE for services to Early Careers in Aviation and continues to pioneer change to help young people’s careers take off.
