FED Council Member: Richard Merriman began his career in 1981 at Geoffrey Chaucer School, Canterbury, a State, Bi-Lateral senior school, before transferring into the Independent Sector, at Clayesmore School. A further move to Kimbolton School as Director of Sport culminated in 1997 when he took on the first of his three Preparatory School Headships. His final post was at Foremarke Hall, Repton Preparatory School, where he gained an enormous insight into International Education.
Richard retired in 2018 & set up his business R P Merriman British & International Education. He is also a parent, former ISI Inspector & Governor. He has also held several key positions within IAPS.
Together with two recently retired colleagues he helped create & lead the organisation Time for Change – shaping tomorrow’s education.
