On Day 1 of FED’s National Education Summit, chaired by Gavin Anderson and joined by Dr Rebecca Winthrop, Dr Karen Edge, Professor Fiona Forbes and Dr Pedro Noguera, the group shares their thoughts and experiences from an international perspective on the English education system.

By looking deeply into the different things that we need to do to transform the education system, with different opinions and experience spanning the entire world. Dr Pedro Noguera states that “testing is used for ranking… we should measure inputs…we consistently invest in the wealthy and fail to provide adequate recourse for the disadvantaged”; this being a catalyst for conversation on how we invest into our children, in order to not reproduce inequality in an unequal system and allow generations to thrive.
