FEDNES Day 2 – ‘What does the FE White Paper actually say about place?’

Play Video

On Day 2 of FED’s National Education Summit, David Gallagher was in conversation with Professor Fiona Forbes discussing the FE white paper, released in January 2021.

David shares his reactions to the white paper, calling it a roundup of the things that those in education already knew. Sharing his thoughts, he discusses the ways in which radical change has not been proposed, but that vocational and technical education has been recognised which is promising, although not recognised and supported in the way in which it needs to be, alluding to the long term vision and plan that the FED is aiming to implement.
