Fed150 - Looking Back, Moving Forward - Why Education Is So Important To Me

In celebration of the 150th Anniversary of State Education in England we hosted a virtual event in which numerous key figures across the Education, Political, Business and Third Sector came together. Each individual provided an insight into why they feel Education is so important to them, why they are celebrating this momentous occasion, the things they feel we have achieved and the changes that they think need to be made as we work together to build a long term plan for Education.

Secretary of State for Education, Gavin Williamson, discusses why education means so much to him. He reflects on the achievements of the past 150 years across all political parties, the differences that this has made and how he believes that the potential of a child should be maximised regardless of who they are or where they come from.
