We are delighted to introduce the co-chairs of the FED Research Advisory Council between 2023-2024. Our stakeholder councils play a pivotal role in our thinking as we develop the systems and strategies that support a long-term vision and plan for education.
Claudia Harris OBE
FED Council Member: Claudia Harris is the CEO of Makers, the UK’s leading tech talent and training platform.
Prior roles include working as the founding CEO of The Careers & Enterprise Company, as a partner at McKinsey & Company, and as part of the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit. She has served on the board of the 30% Club where she co-led the professional services chapter.
She grew up in London and has an undergraduate degree from Oxford University and an MBA from Harvard.
Paul Drechsler CBE
Paul Drechsler CBE Chairman International Chamber of Commerce (U.K.) President SCI, Independent Director Schroders & Co Ltd. Previously; President of the Confederation of British Industry, Chairman BusinessLDN (London First), Chancellor Teesside University, Chairman: Bibby Line Group, Teach First and UK National Skills Funding Agency Advisory Board. He was Chairman & Chief Executive of Wates Group and was 24 years with ICI plc, holding main board and senior positions; living in the UK, Brazil, the USA and the Netherlands. Paul is an engineering graduate from Trinity College Dublin.
