Ali Durban MBE is a co-founder of Gesher School in London and founder of The Single Collective, a leadership consultancy working with headteachers and Multi-Academy Trust leaders on coaching, culture, and values-led change. Awarded an MBE for services to children and young people with SEND, she is a regular panellist and speaker across the education sector and has spent over twenty-five years as a leader, coach and consultant across education and the wider social impact sector.
Through The Single Collective, she works alongside MAT teams and senior leaders, navigating complexity, high pressure, and high accountability. Her programmes help leaders reconnect with what matters, reshape the relational conditions of their cultures, and build the trust and shared responsibility that make lasting change possible. Leaders she works with often describe it as the thinking space they didn’t know they needed.
She also undertakes strategic cross-system consultancy, including evidence-based research and mapping work exploring support ecosystems for young people with SEND.
