Eylan Ezekiel is an educator and edtech producer at Oxford Brookes University, where he leads Hamilton Brookes – as a knowledge-exchange centre. His work connects university research with schools through innovative professional learning and digital partnerships. A former primary teacher, adviser, and governor Eylan has more than twenty years’ experience in educational publishing and technology.
Through Hamilton Brookes, a long-established publisher of primary resources used in thousands of UK schools, he leads work that blends classroom insight with academic research to support teachers and improve learning outcomes. He currently leads a major partnership with The Department of Education in Northern Ireland, exploring how AI can support reading development and teacher professionalism across UK schools. Eylan has a deep understanding of how research, policy, and practice intersect to shape better futures for education.
At Brookes, his focus is on strengthening the university’s civic mission – helping schools, LAs, MATs and ministries to develop professional culture, promote equity, and re-imagine what teacher development can look like in a changing educational landscape.
