In all the changes that we continue to see in the sector, I remain an avowed believer in the power of education to open up opportunities for those who need them most. Currently, I serve as the UK CEO of Skills Builder Partnership, where we collaborate with over 950 organisations to ensure that, one day, everyone will have the essential skills they need to succeed.
My work has always leaned toward the “radical.” I was on the founding team of the London Interdisciplinary School – a university built around solving problems rather than just studying disciplines – and previously founded Causeway Education, a charity dedicated to widening access to life-changing opportunities. Beyond the day job, I’m a Trustee of the Reach Foundation, supporting their cradle-to-career model for systemic change, and a proud parent governor at my sons’ school in Croydon.
