Tara Jussa is the Digital Inclusion Officer at the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority, with over 25 years of experience in community education, engagement, and digital empowerment. Since 2004, she has championed digital literacy as a key driver of equality, opportunity, and wellbeing.
Tara work across the LCR’s six local authorities, includes coordinating the LCR Digital Inclusion Network, leading the Digital Champions Programme and delivering projects such as the Digital Inclusion Initiative and championing device recycling and National Databank engagement.
Her work focuses on supporting residents to build the confidence and capability to engage with digital tools in everyday life – from accessing healthcare and education to employment and social connection. She is a passionate advocate for inclusive digital skills development, working to remove barriers such as affordability, connectivity, and low confidence.
Tara’s person-centred approach promotes the benefits of engaging in community-led learning to build trusted relationships and deliver practical support – ensuring that digital literacy is accessible, relevant, and empowering residents to ensure no one is left behind.
